JFAD (read as J-FAD) - is a 4-piece all girl Visual kei and Oshare kei band. The band name came from the frist letter of each of the members' first name. The band was formed in the mid 2008 by drummer Jirou, guitarist Akira and guitarist Daisuke (formerly of YUKI*HANA, an all-girl JPOP band). The 3 decided to continue even without a bassist. Soon after a couple of months, Feitan (formerly Psycho Witches) decided to join the 3 and changed the band name "HANABI" to "JFAD". JFAD first performance was on the Anime Convention "Hataw, Hanep, Hero 2009 - Amped Edition". They cover the song "Nanka Shiawase" by The Oystars and did perform their first ever composition entry for HERO TV theme song. The song is called "Ang Bagong Superhero" (in English, "The New Superhero") which is in Filipino language.
